My buddy tried stretching before coffee… He doesn’t recommend it.
So he thought he would try a new morning routine:
Wake up, hydrate, stretch, and then have coffee.
Let me tell you something, he said,
“Man…my body felt like a cold bag of frozen broccoli.”
I bent over to touch my toes, and my hamstrings whispered,
“Not today, champ.”
Lesson learned:
Hydration is good.
Stretching is great.
But don’t attempt a downward dog before the bean juice kicks in.
Anybody else got a pre-coffee fail they’re brave enough to share?
